Why We Exist

The cost of clothing continues to rise—even at thrift stores—leaving many in our community without access to basic essentials. While food programs often help fill pantries, clothing remains an overlooked need. That burden weighed heavily on the heart of Laura Ojeda Dellutri, who founded Angel Clothing Foundation to help close the gap.

Laura was raised in a single-parent household with seven siblings. She knew what it meant to go without. Her empathy ran deep—fueled by faith and lived experience.

In 2019, Laura faced a profound personal loss when her beloved sister, Donna, passed away suddenly. Donna’s life had been marked by a courageous battle against addiction and mental illness, a struggle she endured throughout her lifetime. Laura’s relationship with Donna was a testament to the power of unconditional love, and their sisterhood flourished over the course of the last 15 years of Donna’s life.

Donna often dreamed of opening a free clothing store for those who couldn’t afford a thrift shop. Laura turned that dream into a reality, founding Angel Clothing Foundation in Donna’s memory.

Outside of ACF, Laura was widely known as a Home and Lifestyle expert, author, and television spokesperson. But her proudest titles were wife, mother, grandmother, and servant to those in need.

A Message from the Board

In May 2025, our beloved mom Laura Ojeda Dellutri passed away. She was the heart behind Angel Clothing—pouring her love, faith, and fierce compassion into helping people feel seen, valued, and cared for.

In her honor, our family—Lisa, Auburn, and Anthony—have stepped into leadership roles on the board to continue the mission she held so dearly. It’s our deep desire to keep Angel Clothing open and serving the community, just as she would have wanted.

The boutique continues to welcome those in need with dignity and kindness. We are so grateful to the volunteers and supporters who have helped keep the doors open during this time of transition. Mom’s spirit lives on in every hanger, folded item, and warm smile offered at ACF.

With gratitude,
Lisa, Auburn & Anthony
